Stick With Your Campaign

In the world of marketing and advertising, patience is a virtue. Often times, companies prematurely pull their advertising campaigns off of the market because immediate results are not seen. That is one of the biggest mistakes made by companies who participate in advertising and marketing campaigns. It is important not to give up on the advertisements too quickly and pull the campaign because the longer that the ads are publicly displayed, the more impressions they will receive and ultimately, the more successful they will be.

Just because the phones aren't ringing off of the hook two weeks after the campaign was launched does not mean that the advertisement was a failure. If the message is simple and consistent, and the media campaign yields sufficient frequency, it will eventually become imbedded in the minds of the targeted audiences. The keyword here is eventually. It usually takes three times exposure to radio, TV, billboards or print, for the company's message to be ingrained in the mind of the consumer. Because of this delayed, but inevitable, response to the consistent advertising message, it is vital to stick with the campaign and track the results week to week to measure return on investment.
